Artistic Body Development offers several different Pilates-based fitness group classes, as well as individual lessons. Each class is an entire body workout, with exercises that target different muscles from head to toe.
Our group classes range from 5 to 15 students, which makes them small enough for the instructors to be able to work individually with students to perfect technique and form. Modifications can be made to exercises, and alternative movements can be offered on an individual basis. Pilates-based movements are low-impact and can be scaled up or down depending on your fitness goals and ability.
ABD classes are unique; you won’t find them at another Pilates studio or gym. We have developed our exercises and movements around a custom designed Pilates Universal Reformer.
If a group class isn’t for you, please inquire about our individual Pilates-based fitness sessions. You will work one on one with an instructor who can tailor exercises to your individual needs and level of fitness. Individual sessions are perfect for anyone who is working through an injury, physical therapy and/or rehabilitation.

MYOPATTERNING
Myopatterning is a Pilates-based exercise system that is designed to safely increase strength and flexibility, while improving posture. Exercises are done on equipment that is built in the tradition of the Joseph Pilates Universal Reformer, incorporating both resistance training and stretching. This comprehensive 90-minute workout is suitable for all fitness levels.

MYOBARREMyoBarre is an advanced 60-minute class which builds upon the technique used in Myopatterning, and transfers the work to a standing position. Exercises are performed both on and off the reformer, incorporating ballet barres attached to each machine. This class focuses on body alignment, posture, and balance while developing strength and endurance. MyoBarre is ideal for students looking for a fast-paced workout that is both mentally and physically demanding.

FLOOR BARREFloor Barre is a 60-minute class inspired by and built upon a traditional ballet floor barre class. Muscles are slowly and systematically elongated through a series of stretch sequences, increasing flexibility and mobility. This is a relaxing, slower-paced class appropriate for any fitness level.
